Southern Vietnam Helicopter to accept the 3rd Eurocopter EC225
On August 7th. 2013 at Vung Tau Airport, Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH South) of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation has organized acceptance ceremony of the 3rd. EC 225 Reg. No. VN 8620.

EC 225 is a helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter (France) with capacity of 19 seats, maximum take-off weight of 11 tons and maximum range of 920 km. Powered by 2 Turbomeca Makila 2A1 engines, EC 225 is integrated with latest technologies, advance controlling system ensuring its operations at high payload, long range and high speed.

VNH began operating EC 225 since 2009. This is the 3rd. EC 225 of the largest EC 225 fleet in Southeast Asia. VNH has been successfully operate this type of helicopter for oil and gas support, VIP transportation, search and rescue, emergency evacuation and so on. Recently, it is mobilized to serve special task to carry passengers to Big Truong Sa, An Bang, West Song Tu, Nam Yet Islands of Truong Sa archipelago.
