EC225 AND AS332L2 PREPARED TO FLY
Based on EASA’s AD dated 7 October 2016 to lift the temporary flight suspension of the Super Puma EC225 LP and AS332 L2 helicopters from Airbus Helicopters on 2 June 2016 following the crash of an EC225 LP helicopter in Norway, on 11 October 2016, Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam has issued a letter to allow such helicopters to fly complying to the SB of Airbus Helicopters introducing the measures for the operators to return the fleet to service.
EC 225 on mission
In line with technical measures conducted by VNH/VNHS to actively prepare to put the EC 225 and Super Puma into service, on 14 October 2016, VNH/VNHS in collaboration with Airbus Helicopters has organized a Symposium on status of EC-225 and Super Puma L2 with the participation of representatives from PVN’s leaders, oil & gas companies in Vietnam, Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, Airbus Helicopters, Vietnam Helicopter Corporation and VNH’s member companies.
SUPER PUMA AS322L2 on Rescue Training Mission
The clients highly appreciate the professionalism and transparency of VNH/VNHS in providing promptly and fully information on the operations of EC 225 and Super Puma L2 and best efforts of VNH/VNHS to ensure continuity of the clients’ offshore operations. They also show their trust and support to VNH/VNHS’s reliable and efficient helicopter services when these helicopters return to service.
