Vietnam Helicopters provides 3 consecutive years of fire-fighting services in Indonesia

On 26th June 2018, Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH South) successfully performed the ferry flight of Mi-172 call sign VN-8427 from Vung Tau airport to Palembang (Indonesia). The second Mi-172 call sign VN-8428 is scheduled to be ferried from Vung Tau to Dumai (Indonesia) in the first week of July 2018.

On 9th May 2018, VNH South signed a wet lease contract with Komala company (Indonesia) to provide two Mi-172 helicopters with full package service (including aircrafts, pilots, technicians, maintenance and insurance) for passenger, cargo transport and fire-fighting in Indonesia. The contract shall last until November 2018. This is the 3rd consecutive year that VNH South has been providing this service in Indonesia. It shows the determination to conquer the new market of VNH South's leaders as well as a positive signal to reinforce the right direction of VNH South and the recognition from regional clients and partners in trusting VNH South’s services. 

Together with offshore flight operations, VNH South continues to promote other flight services to show the importance of helicopters, especially demonstrates the flexibility and quickness of emergency flights that other means can’t be met. The company is still fulfilling its mission by ensuring absolute safety, ready to meet the needs of clients on evacuation, emergency medical flights in harsh weather conditions, night or daytime.
