Eurocopter to cooperate with Vietnam Helicopter Corporation to develop a Training Center in Vietnam.

Realizing the huge potential  of Vietnam helicopter service market and responding to the increasing demands  for experienced pilots, VNH has set up a Training Center in Vung Tau for domestic and regional pilot training.

With the initial target to provide adequate pilots for the boosting helicopter market in Vietnam and the area, VNH has chartered an EC 120B Colibri for dedicated training. The partnership also entails the training of Vietnamese pilot instructors by Eurocopter, using the Flight Training Device housed in the ESEA Training Centre based in Singapore.

 

“ We have been operating Eurocopter helicopters for many years and we are entirely  confident in this type of helicopter. We have a good cooperation with  Eurocopter whose support services are to our satisfaction ” Captain Nguyen Duc Hoa – Deputy General Director of VNH commented.

 

VNH’s target in this partnership is to develop a staff of best pilots for future flight safety to satisfy the increasing need for efficient helicopter services”.

 

VNH has chosen the one-engine EC 120 which integrates advanced technologies, cost-efficient  operations and easy maintenance.

VNH is an important client of Eurocopter in Vietnam – with a fleet of 13 Eurocopter heavy and medium helicopters, including the latest version EC 225 recently accepted by VNH South last year for offshore oil & gas operations.
