EC-175 Demomonstration tour in Vung Tau, Viet Nam
On 10th and 11th December 2013, Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH South) co-operated with Eurocopter in organizing EC-175 demonstration tour in Vungtau airport, Vietnam. This event was under the EC-175 first Asia tour including 03 stopovers in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand to demonstrate the Eurocopter’s newest medium-sized twin-engine helicopter. Eurocopter brought the EC-175 to Vungtau – the unique destination in Vietnam - a southern Vietnam coastal city that plays an important role in the country’s offshore oil industry. The EC-175 is well tailored for the type of oil and gas industry services, offers excellent performance, speed and handles qualities in challenging operations – particularly to offshore platforms.

Customer Relation of Eurocopter and Capt. Nguyen Duc Hoa – Deputy General Director of VNH
All invitees were introduced with the EC-175
The invitees joined its demo flights on the same day
The following day welcomed the Vietnamese press and media including daily newspapers such as Thanh Nien, Tuoi Tre, Quan doi nhan dan..., online papers e.g. VN Express, Dan Tri, Thong tan xa Vietnam… to participate in EC-175 introduction and its demo flight also.
The EC-175 demo tour in Vietnam took place as expectation. Eurocopter highly appreciated VNH South’s co-operation in making this event success. On 12th December 2013, the helicopter ferried to Bangkok (Thailand) – the last stop on its Asia tour.
